African Women in Business
Founded in June 2019 as SADC Women in Business (SADC-WIB), and responding to the Implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) in 2021, decided to expand our geographical reach to cover the rest of the continent of Africa, which culminated to the new name, “African Women In Business (African-WIB)”. It is set to becoming the unifying voice of women-owned businesses in African countries representing the fastest growing segment of the economy.
African-WIB is a dues-based organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs across all sectors and with chapters across all regions in the African continent. With far-reaching clout and impact, African-WIB is a one-stop resource for propelling women business owners into greater economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide.
Manned by a very strong and diverse Executive Team and Directors from the Head Office in South Africa and across all regions in Africa, recognized in their respective industries being thought leaders on women’s business issues, and joined with corporate partners and other non-profit organizations who share our mission and expand our influence, African-WIB is the continent’s premier women’s business organization.
Shareholders
Grow Culture carefully selected a small group of partners to strengthen their team and ensure global recognition within the medical cannabis industry. These partners consist of Medical Doctors as experts. They will be the company’s primary medical partners, managing and coordinating all medical related concerns and issues. Further partners consist of a senior civil & process engineer, water purification specialists and online retail experts.
Partner Lesotho
Basildon Peta is currently the CEO of Africa Media Holdings, which is the publishing company behind the Lesotho Times. This weekly newspaper has been published since 2008.
Basildon Peta is well recognised within the all governmental and social circles within Lesotho and will play a key part as the principal liaison officer between regulatory, community and the cannabis cultivation.
Partner South Africa
Wandile is Head of Agriculture in the Business Chamber of Youth in Mpumalanga. He has a vast agricultural background and the MD of Medical Cannabis Enterprise.
